"Throwing shinies at us doesnt count as "new content""

#PokemonGO: Your revenue is over 65 million per month and you are far away from being the small indie company you pretend to be and yet we havnt had a real content update in like forever.There are so many demands from the community that would improve gameplay and make the pokemon go experience so much better like a ping system for raids. This has been brought up for at least a year now and the system is still the same. Its astonishing to me that this hasnt been implement by now. It seems like a basic feature if your want to bring the community together.The arena system is broken af. There is no incentive to take more than 1-2 gym depending how long your pokemon stays. The pokemon you put as defense is irrelevant and WP doesnt count since you might need to attack three times anyways. You cant even "collect" your coins. We need an overhaul for this, desperately.The battle system in general seems lackluster and could need some rework.They game itself is coming down to a shiny grind. Why is the roll out so slow?The potential of the special reasearch is very high but the way it is used right now is very poor. Why not use it for regional exclusives? Or one of the other legendarys like celebi?There are so many things that could be done to make pokemon go more exiting but it feels like niantic is just doing the bare minimum to keep players on the hook... via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2DTWCRU
