"A guide to new or returning players"

#PokemonGO: I have compiled a list of tips that new or returning players to the game could use due to the massive number of changes made to the game.I got the idea of doing this because a friend who is a returning player asked me to help him out. I hope this list would help someone trying to gain XP quickly. This list has been made through my personal experiences. Please feel free to add any more useful tips to this in the comments. Constructive criticism would greatly be appreciated.Spin pokestopsStock up on pinap berries, golden razz berries, silver pinap berries, ultra balls, great balls, max potions, hyper potions, rare candies, incense, any TMs, raid passes, lure modules and any special evolution items.I find it very pointless keeping ANY nanab berries, standard potions and super potions in my bag so I throw them all out.I keep my pokeball count, my revives (both normal and max revives) and my razz berries at around 25-50 depending on my bag space and the amount on other resources I have stocked up on.Do not break pokestop and catch streaks. You can gain a lot of XP through them once you reach the 7th day.Work on special research quests. Plan ahead by checking what tasks are yet to come.Collect a field research stamp everyday. It is the easiest way to get legendary Pokemon.Find a local raid crew that's active in your area and do raids regularly.Keep doing gym battles of opposing team's gyms and take them over. Helps with XP. Add Pokemon to your own team's gyms to earn coins.Walk your eggs to hatch them. Hatching eggs is one of the best ways to get a good IV Pokemon and also shiny Pokemon. I have hatched a 100% IV magikarp in the past through a 2 km egg. It's also a great way of earning stardust.Stock up on a lot of stardust so that you have enough to do trades and also to power up Pokemon after reaching a higher level.Do solo raids once you're able to if you're not able to right away.Always prioritize a better IV over a better CP one, unless the CP of the Pokemon is low. There is no use evolving a low CP good IV Pokemon.Catch every possible Pokemon you see.Hunt even if you're in a moving vehicle and ARE NOT DRIVING.Add more people as friends and send gifts everyday. Easy XP and as your friendship level reaches a particular milestone you get lot of XP. 100k XP for the highest level of friendship (best friends).Make a Pokemon you are sort of close to evolving your buddy so that you are more motivated to walk.Challenge yourself to complete at least 25 km per week to get adventure sync rewards. They provide you with a lot of resources and rare items such as silver pinap berries. If 25 km seems less challenging to you, aim for 50 km.Be on the lookout for in game events. They usually come with some bonuses such as XP, stardust, etc.Try using normal incubators/super incubators for 7 km and 10 km eggs only and infinite incubator only for 2 km and 5 km eggs.Focus on expanding bag storage and Pokemon storage instead of spending coins on anything else. Do not make the same mistake that I did.DO NOT QUIT :) via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2Y6WSW1
