"My theory that Sword and Shield were initially 3DS games"

Since E3 and the controversies around the new games along with the recent response by Masuda I can't help but feel that the new games feel like a 3DS game that has been poorly rushed to become a Switch game.We know that these games have been in development since 2016 as Max Raids and PoGo raids were developed at the same time from this article https://ift.tt/2ZWeHHD my theory is that these were originally meant to he 3DS games as Tsunekazu Ishihara believed that the Switch would be a flop as seen in this article https://ift.tt/2XAQ2Ld once it was shown that it was a success they forced Gamefreak to switch gears and turn Sword and Shield into a Switch game which is why we have a game that looks semi rushed with a lot of cut content even though it's been in development for 3 years. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2YjMVEM
