"Thoughts on state of game after playing WU"

#PokemonGO: Used to play Pokemon Go with the kids but they’ve run out of steam recently, partly due to repetitive spawns, partly due to grind. They’re both HP fans and excited by Wizards Unite so have been playing plenty in past 24 hours. Initial impressions are good. I’m not sure it will have the same user base lifespan of Go due to Pokemon’s core user base and mechanics, but they’ve really made an effort.Graphically it’s a different league to PG, some clear reskins, but more RPG elements, voice acting, building types, animations, variety in general. Pokemon Go showing it’s age.The amount of time they’ve put into missions challenges and the base game seems vastly more then the small incremental Pokemon updates. Special research tasks have dried up. I think treating shiny Pokemon as new content is causing a degree of complacency. I’m not sure if the production values/content boost on WU is because of Warner Brothers involvement.I’ll never sink the time into WU as I have in PG because I’m not as invested in the franchise. It just bums me out a bit that it seems to have been left behind.TLDR version: WU’s variety and production values hammer home to me a sensation that PoGo has been neglected by Niantic. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2WVTXTv
