"[PSA] Use power saving mode on Android to control when does Adventure Sync happen"

#PokemonGO: TLDR: Only open PokeGo with Power Saving off when you want the AS to happen. Open game with Power Saving on will not sync AS distance but will preserve it for next time game opens (most of the time)Many people on Android should know that if you want to open Pokemon Go after a jog to get the AS distance, you need to disable the Power Saving mode. Through experiment (AKA forgetting this many many times), I found that if you open the game with PS on, you can actually exit the game, turn off the app, turn off PS and re-open the game again. In most of the time (95% of the time for me), you will be able to get AS distance when you open the game later with PS off. With this in mind, you can basically control when the AS happen (with some risk). For example if you have a 2km egg in incubator and just finished jogging 10km. You can turn on the app with PS, walk 2km to hatch the egg. Then you can put you 10km egg , turn off the game AND PS, turn on the game again to instantly get your egg hatch.Just remember that sometimes you may not get the distance at all if you risk opening the game with PS. I don't fully understand the true fail mechanism, please help to comment if you know how to avoid the risk.Edit: Include TLDR in front via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2SaMzxZ
