"Is it time to rework Research Breakthrough rewards?"
#PokemonGO: For the second week in a row, I have gotten a sinnoh stone and 2000 dust. I can’t speak for all, but that with a non-shiny flower crown eevee is hardly worth any effort to maintain a 7 day streak.Adventure sync (while not great) offers better 7 day rewards, 6000 dust as a base alone being a start.I would argue that the dust reward be increased to at least 5000 for the breakthrough, and then removing pokeballs, sinnoh stones and pinap berries from the reward pool, replacing sinnoh stones with an increased chance for unova stones, pinap berries with silver pinaps, and pokeballs with either charge TMs or even a single raid pass/incubator would be such an improvement.Sinnoh stones have been out for a year now, and are common enough through PvP/leader battles that most everyone is flooded with them while unova stones are far too rare currently.Pokeballs as a reward is a mere joke, a 7 day reward should not be something you can get from taking 30 seconds in spinning 6-8 pokestops.Same with pinap berries, it hardly feels like a “breakthrough” worthy reward to get 5 pinap berries. It’s time for an overhaul of the loot from research breakthrough, and time to also add sinnoh stones/unova stones to 7 day spin streaks (another issue for another day though perhaps)Thoughts?Edit for clarity: this is not to say decrease the amount of ways to obtain sinnoh stones, this is saying add MORE ways to get sinnoh stones that are just NOT the research breakthrough, such as rare rewards from normal spins and or just 7 day spin streaks. They have been out for a year now, there is no reason to keep them locked to just PvP (which some players don't participate in) or research breakthroughs when there is now a new stone players need to get with only one way to obtain it. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2mlkvwq
