#PokemonGO: We have seen time and time again that certain legendary raid bosses (Mewtwo and Darkrai for example) have been made difficult in an effort to encourage raiding in larger groups. This is understandable as Niantic's intention is to encourage more social interaction and thats fine. What doesnt make sense however is how the rewards are distributed. Right now in order to receive better reward bundles with more premium items, it makes more sense to raid in smaller groups, better if you're able to shortman (defeat the raid boss with the least amount of trainers possible), and best if you're able to shortman with trainers of the same team. Do you now see where the flaw and contradiction lies in this logic? This needs to change in my opinion.Niantic needs to decide on whether to award better reward bundles to trainers who raid in bigger groups or to stop making raid bosses more difficult and continue to better reward trainers who raid in small groups. Personally I'd like to see the reward bundles be awarded based on individual performance rather than team performance and smaller groups. That way trainers would feel the need to learn about the most effective types and counters against a raid boss in order to have the best chance to compete for the #1 spot for damage output and receive the best rewards.Increasing the difficulty of legendary raid bosses wont be a problem for experienced raiders if smaller group sizes and top team performance yield the best rewards. Increasing raid boss difficulty would require 1-2 more trainers at most using high level top counters which I think isnt enough to discourage raiding in small groups while the less experienced trainers are left to struggle and raid with each other. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Xh2Rru
