"Rocket Leaders: My Experiences (mild spoilers)"

#PokemonGO: Managed to do 2 rocket leader battles today, and to be honest, i was fairly underwhelmed. Battled Arlo, and he had Scyther, Magnezone and Dragonite, but cant remember the CPs. Second run was Sierra. I found Sierra a bit more challenging with pokemon 1 a Sneazel (9799CP), then a Hypno (9993CP) and to finish a Houndoom (12563CP).I felt it was like a solo raid, with the CP and damage output quite high, but that was expected. It is worth noting, that like normal rocket stops and raids, you can reattempt the battle until you win.Once won, the item is rendered used and you have to farm for a second. On that topic, doing a ‘rocket run’ and battling a leader, can get expensive with revives and potions, so worth having at least a small stockpile prior to venturing forth.I actually felt the rewards underwhelming for the effort involved with actually going through the rigmarole of actually getting there. I got: 1K Stardust 1 Max Revive 1 Hyper Potion From Sierra. Arlo was similar rewards.May also worth mentioning that rocket leaders do not have their own badge, and just simply contribute to the standard ‘Hero’ badge of rocket grunts. All in all, a fun experience and a great addition to the Lore aspect of Pokémon Go for them to build upon, but i think the rewards could be scaled up a little bit, and maybe scale the difficulty for lower level players (unless they already have, im level 40 and kind of just assume they haven’t) as i imagine these being VERY difficult for level 30 and below.TL;DR Fun but difficult, and minimal rewards via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/34CP55c
