"Dynamaxing is the single worst gimmick for competitive play ever."

Mega evolutions? Gives old semi useless pokemon upgrades and makes them useful, while also giving meta relevant pokemon cool new forms and makes them stronger while not completely making them OP (Except like mewtwo but mewtwo is impossible to balance)Z moves? Admittingly a pretty bad gimmick. Basically a gaurenteed one shot on just about any pokemon. BUT you can plan around this with strategy, after all the opponent only gets ONE shot at this move, if they waste it that's it, it's gone, and you likely get a huge advantage.Dynamax and gigantamaxing? Gives pokemon a shit ton of health. Literally 4 incredibly powerful moves that ALL have one shot potential if you aren't running a tank AND they all have some kind of gaurenteed secondary effect. Then make this all last 3 WHOLE TURNS. Game freak has essentially turned sweeping into a gimmick, and it's not fun or interesting or even remotely balanced.I heard game freak was focusing on balance this gen. Apparently game freaks version of balance is gutting a pokemons move set until they have like 1 maybe 2 viable set ups and then throw a ridiculously op gimmick on top of it.Am I salty? Hell yes.
