#PokemonGO: Just like you the trainer has that pulsing ring around as you walk triggering potential encounters your buddy should as well . The buddy is supposed to be a extension of you. We've seen many times in the series where Pokemon trigger encounters with the trainer so I think this would make the game more fun and realistic .
