Let me explain.Pokémon SWSH is such an easy, hand holding, on rail, Animal Crossing simulator that I feel like I’m playing “Weenie Hut Jr” the game. What a treat.Its really cool not to have to think about type match ups anymore because the game tells me what they are. I also like that the developers sold me an unfinished game for $60 And that they want me to pay $30 More for the rest of the game. Don’t get me started on paywalling the Dex. Great choice.I like the complete lack of exploration and bare bones locales. It’s really cool that the original games had more challenging Dungeons and areas As well as larger areas to explore. Shows you the processing power of the gameboy. Impressive.The gym leaders themselves are a treat. So incompetent that they get one hit by the same move. in my game, the crowd started booing us and walked out. I heard they asked for refunds. I hope they got them. I imagine in real life the gym leaders would be instantly removed from their positions as gym leaders.Then there’s the champion. He’s undefeated. Leon and his sidekick Hoppers. They played the game for me. I didn’t have to do anything except listen to people talk. Hop was always surprised that I used effective moves. He’d never battled before and his memory kept resetting every time we battled.Hop was interesting. He did everything I wanted to do. Always one step ahead. Clever boy. His brother did everything I wanted to do as well. They played the game for me. Those super brothers. So considerate. “You rest.” They said. “you spent $60 on this journey, no need to wear yourself out.”Pokémon don’t cluster together in small patches of grass. The wild area doesn’t consider this. It’s just like, here’s 50 Gastly in one spot have fun. I could choose from so many Gastly. Also considerate. I always thought to myself “Pokémon travel in herds of 50+”There was a team called Yell in my game. They served a purpose. I just don’t know what it was. I think it was to artificially lengthen the game. And to yell. They did that a lot.The Dragon gym leader fell in love with Leon at some point. That’s hot, I guess.Lastly, there’s this guy called Chancellor palpatine Rose. He almost killed everyone in the Galar region. But it’s cool I think he got away or something. Who knows. Stuff like that doesn’t seem like a big deal in PokeWorld.I played hide and go seek with adults that wore sunglasses. Weird.Marnie and Bede were cool.
