"Would Niantic ever apply "broad" spawns?"

#PokemonGO: What I'm getting at is that it seems there is a constant event going on to change the types of pokemon that spawn. And during these events, we get flooded with 5-6 different pokemon and that's about it.What I would prefer is a broader, unbiased system that gives every pokemon a truly random* chance to spawn. For me, this would make the game much more exciting seeing spawns be so diverse. How I envision it is pokemon are put in a probability tier and spawn at a rate purely based on the tier they're in. All pokemon would be in a tier and have an equal chance of spawning anywhere (regionals excluded) as every other pokemon in their tier. For example:Tier 1: 60% of all spawns - common stuff like pidgey, starters, growlithe, etc.Tier 2: 30% of all spawns - less common stuff and maybe some evolved mons, stuff like electabuzz, heracross, second evolution starters, etc.Tier 3: 9.9% of all spawns - rarer stuff like dratini, cool evolved mons like aggron, nidoking, etc.Tier 4: 0.09% of all spawns - really rare evolved mons, stuff like salamenceTier 5: 0.01% of all spawns - legendariesThe tiers are just examples, but a system like this would be my dream for how spawns work the majority of the time. I feel it would make spawns much more diverse than only giving us a handful at a time and changing what's in that pool every couple of weeks. There are hundreds of pokemon in the game, but it feels like we only get a few at a time. Thoughts? via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/35zLFSb
