"Pokeball reloading delay on wild Pokemon"

#PokemonGO: I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. When I miss a throw on a wild Pokemon, about 50% of the time there's like a 5 second delay on when the poke ball "reloads" to be able to throw again. Is there a fix for this or has Niantic acknowledged this problem at all?
