Instead, each gym would focus on a specific strategy or concept in the game.For example, we can have a gym focused on type advantage (just like the triplets in BW) where in all pokemon have dual typing and coverage for most, if not all, types.We can also have a gym focused on friendship and uses pokemon like Crobat, Umbreon and Blissey. (and would probably give the TM Return upon defeat)We can have a gym the focuses on breeding (located on the same town where the pokemon daycare is) that uses baby pokemon and egg moves.There will also be a gym that uses status conditions to their advantage, a gym that focuses on Abilities/Hidden Abilities and also a gym that specialize in held items.Edit: we can also have a gym leader that uses Shinies.
