"Are you planning to host Remote Raid Hour? Read how to do this to avoid errors and mistakes."

#PokemonGO: Remote raiding has been out for a few weeks and hardcore users have discovered a few tricks which are crucial to have the whole experience go smooth and easy.PreparationHave a pre-made search string ready to be pasted into lobby’s search. It can be a few first letters of trainer names (nick1,nick2,nick3,etc) – just enough that when you paste it, there are only 5 names on the list. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap and Send.Have a private chat group (Telegram, Messenger, etc) where you can coordinate with the folks you’re inviting.Always create a private lobby to prevent random remote raiders joining and stealing your group’s places (max 10 remote raiders, if you’re a remote raider, it’s only 9).Send notifications every 2 raids to make sure they have enough inventory space and have remote passes in inventory. Backing out from raid lobby to shop only to find their backpack full of potions and rare candies can slow down the joining process to the point of missing the raid completely.Ask folks to say they’re ready for next raid or announce next lobby’s invitations being sent if you’re hosting a speed raiding session (just looking for a hundo or shiny and doing as many as you can, fleeing from anything else).HostingThe biggest thing you need to worry about is posting your lobby’s 3-pokémon code to group chatYes, public lobbies have that code too.The reason for this is that if the trainer you’re inviting again didn’t catch the raid boss (and didn’t throw away all the premier balls causing it to flee), then as long as the invitation is active, the next invitation will result with "This Gym is too far away" error when trying to join via the big pink Join buttonAnd actually, even if the boss was caught, the error can still happen – so it’s advised to always post that code for 2nd, 3rd, etc raid you’re hosting.Trainers have to click "Private Group" text below the big pink button to enter it and join without issues.Any other error means they have to restart their game.Invite folks to raids which started later (due to previous raid/egg blocking a Raid Hour egg) after you’re done with raids which spawned on time.Try to avoid inviting trainers to raids which have less than 2-3 minutes left on the timer – if they’re kicked (crash, error) or have to relobby when raid is already over, they will lose the raid boss reward as there’s no raid invitation to click anymore.Happy Raiding! I hope you can catch that elusive black serpent. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Xy1ZjP
