"Have the games gotten easier?"

I (25F) played Pokemon religiously as a child, I would even wake up early so I could play emerald before school. I even remember sitting under my covers with a flashlight playing yellow on my gameboy advanced. I played all the games up to Diamond, which I had to stop playing when I was 14 because I lost the game of a family vacation. I never repurchased the game, and lost interest in playing as a teenager and couldn't justify the expense or the time in college.Well because of quarantine I decided why not? I want to start playing again. I bought another DS and played Moon and Y, then I was finally able to buy a Switch and I am almost finished with Shield. Is it just me, or are the games significantly easier? It's hard for me to judge because the last time I seriously played, I was a child. But I remember seriously struggling getting through the Champion's League or each games equivalent and having to heal yourself and fainting frequently, and the gyms had more challenges. I remember Diamond and Emerald being really hard in particular.Am I crazy or did they get easier? It seems like there is more help along the way. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3kUTJnh
