"It’s already been a year since Sword and Shield released"

And soon it’ll be two years since the game was announced, wow. I remember getting home from school last year on November 15th and rushing to the mailbox to get my copy of Pokémon Sword from Amazon lol. The game wasn’t great but at least it was fun, I beat it in 3 days with around 30 hours of playtime. Honestly I haven’t touched the game much since then. Sw/Sh is a good game for a small studio, but there’s no reason it should be as lackluster as it is considering it’s a main series title in the largest media franchise ever. I’m somewhat hopeful for future games though, I know we got the DLC this year but that’s not really a full game, we’re finally getting a year off without a new main series game. I’m hoping we’ll get actual new animations, and just an overall next gen Pokemon experience next year, or in a few years.
