#PokemonGO: STICKERS ARE USELESS and ANNOYING and only SLIGHTLY less pointless than buddy gifts, currently.TL;DR: I would love to be able to send stickers with actual HELPFUL or useful 'stock' messages on them, as opposed to the weird/confusing "thank you thank you thank you!", "Oh yeah!" or "BYE!" stickers (thank you for what? is that happy "oh yeah" or sinister "oh yeah"? and wait, bye to WHO? am being unfriended? what?? 😭 lol yall know.)NON-TL;DR elaboration for bored folks with longer attention spans... possible examples:🔹Players who are not worried about XP can send a sticker that says "Open gift any time!", allowing lower level players to level up friendship and not waste days trying to track people down.🔹Conversely, somebody who really wants to make sure they have an egg going could send a sticker that says "PLEASE COORDINATE =)" when they approached milestones.🔹Players who have been away from the game for a little while and worry about getting it removed from other people's lists can send a sticker with a gift that says "Don't worry, still here!".🔹Players somebody may not know in real life and could never utilize lucky trades or anything with might be able to send a sticker with an x on it to let the other person know it's okay if they remove them from their friends list to create space...I've kept many people who weren't participating as much with gifts and didn't care if they had less friends, but I wanted to be courteous.🔹Players trying to complete a task or gain badge battles or something could send a gift with a sticker that said "PVP anytime please!" or similar🔹If Niantic were to bless us with the ability to trade longer distances in the future, sending stickers with "trade today?" Or similarly could help people clear out local lucky trades they want to make but can't coordinate because they only know the person by their Pokemon name and cannot contact them🔹 other cute things! ones that may not exactly useful but are still relevant, for example "nice username!" or "I love your buddy Pokemon!" or "your avatar's outfit is cool!" Beyond that, obviously stickers of just a Pokemon character without any particular message, or seasonal stickers, that's whatever.Sorry that was long, I just really hate the sticker mechanic & get mildly furious once in a blue moon when I remember how many I have and that I can't delete any of them.
