"What if Australia was a Pokemon region"

If Gamefreak decides to base their next pokemon region (gen 9) on Australia, here's what I think they should do:​StartersGrass: A Diprotodon (giant wombat). It starts off as a pure grass type and gains the ground type after fully evolving.Fire: A taipan. It remains a dual Fire/Poison type throughout its entire evolutionary stageWater: A platypus. It becomes part poison after fully evolved​Early Route PokemonRegional Rodent: A two-stage normal/rock type evolutionary line based on the rock ratRegional Bird: A two-stage ground-type evolutionary line based on the cassowary.
