"Animation Speed is Slow"

#PokemonGO: Is it just me or would anyone else want the animations sped up? I feel like these animations take up to nearly 80% of my game time. Waiting for balls to trigger, pokemon to evolve, feeding the buddy's. If the graphics looked better, I could justify seeing these.
