That it totally messed up the sports theme it had going.Gyms should be "teams" made up of several unique trainers with the leader as the captain, there should be fans, their own songs, the league should be presented as an actual league and their should have been a "second tier" of gyms - in fact these are actually referenced by Avery and Clara! Adding them to DLC would be fantastic, plus you could always feature a "champions League" with visiting trainers from other regions.Britain loves sport, we love supporting teams, we wear the kits, we sing the songs, we love seeing teams promoted, we hate seeing our team get relegated. We're proud that our second tier of football is so strong. As the player goes through the games, some people will get annoyed towards the player because you beat their teams, whereas others would love you for beating their rivals.Also, the music would be a good excuse to bring back individual gym themes rather than generic.
