"Unpopular Opinion: X and Y are very underrated games"

I remember a time where X and Y were often criticized and looked down upon by the fan base as a whole. Inherently, these games do have flaws and shortcomings, which many people pin the story for being weak, not too much content, few new Pokes, no 3rd game to support it, etc. As with other games in the franchise, the gen 6 games have drawbacks in different areas.Needless to say, I always find X and Y as somewhat comforting and relaxing every single time I visit it. While these games were released in the year I got back into the franchise, nevertheless I hold a unique appreciation for these games. The massive change in graphics, how beautiful the region looked in many areas, the new Pokémon introduced, the largest base dex ever for a Pokémon game, the revolutionary PSS, Pokémon Amie, Megas, etc. All these characteristics bring me back to replaying these games, and the additions they brought to the franchise are always fun to revisit via this game every single time I replay it. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2WAhRo3
