#PokemonGO: So I started playing Pokemon go in 2016 when it was released. My daughter was born the previous year in 2015. I would play the game on and off while I pushed her in the carriage or if we went somewhere new, but I never put any real effort into it.Fast forward to the end of the last school year, my daughter was finishing up Kindergarten and she got REALLY into all things Pokemon, Cards, toys, games, cartoons, everything. And starting in the summer I really got into it and it became very much a bonding thing.we would watch the cartoons together, the movies and read the books and what not and eventually I introduced her to Pokemon Go which she immediately took to. Partly because a Lot of her friends were playing as well(as best as 5-6 yr olds can play) and the beginning of 1st grade was no exception.We began to really sit down and watch the movies and she loved the legendary's and Mythicals such as Genesect, Lugia, Lucario and of course Mew. And for some strange reason she LOVES Team Rocket. Jessie and James are two of her favorite characters on TV...No clue why, but whatever.So I have been able to acquire Genesect and Lugia(with a LOT of help and explaining from this community)And was nearing the end of the Mew research.So today I was making dinner around 1800 Hrs, while she was playing on the phone. Suddenly she comes running in screaming that "JESSIE AND JAMES ARE HERE IN THE GAME!!!"...Now I had seen them the first day but she wasnt around so I didnt mention it to her in case she never saw it.So was so happy to battle them she was screaming and laughing the whole time. She eventually beats both of them and continues playing catching a Magikarp followed by a Diglett. Well by some dumb luck she lands an "Excellent Curve Ball" on the Diglett, completing the Mew Research. Of course she didnt know what she did. But I saw it pop up and told her to turn the research in. The game told us that AR HAD to be turned on for this encounter so we went outside and she nearly dropped the Phone when Mew popped up on the screen. about 20 balls later she was the proud owner of a 2 Star Mew(damn it). She was excited and so happy she went to bed about 2 hours later then normal.
