"Cynthia shouldn't lose against Leon in the anime, right?"

For those who don't know, long story short, currently the anime is having a Master Class where the strongest trainers (typically Champions) around the world are gathered in one place to compete for title of the strongest one (aka. "Monarch"). Only trainers in the Master Class (limited to 8 persons) can challenge each others in the same class, the current Monarch is unsurprisingly Leon but the more the anime progress the more fight we'll see fights between people in this class and eventually we might see Cynthia VS Leon since both of them are in this class.Leon, unsurprisingly, is advertised as the strongest trainer in anime due to the current era is Sword/Shield era (both for the game and the anime) and they want to make the Champion in his own region look strong and undefeated. Him defeating Raihan in the class will be just in accordance to in-game representation but they have allowed him to defeat Lance as well (with a bit of 'protection' for Lance, protection as in Lance not using his Ace monster aka.Dragonite which eventually lead to heated debates in fanbase where people claimed that Lance would've won had he used his Dragonite) and I fear that he will eventually face Cynthia with the current plot armor that he has.Cynthia, a popular fans' favorite, does not appear in the current anime by accident. She is here to represent the current BDSP faction just like how Steven appeared in XY anime alongside Diantha to represent the introduction of ORAS in the same era. For this reason alone, I think they will give her top treatment but unlike Steven-Diantha's equal treatment situation the Master Class in the anime has a ruling where its members will have to fight each others for the prestigious title at the end of the tournament and I fear that this is the precarious situation where the writers would have to decide about which character should be given better feats and hypes over the other character and personally would hate if Cynthia can't hold a candle to Leon just because he's a champion in his own region, the least the could do is to make them have a draw even though I think it's about time that someone finally knock him off his throne.
