"Help out a pokemon noob"

So, ive never played or watched pokemon despite having a 3DS but now that i have a switch id really like to atleast play Some of the pokemon games. The issue is that there are just so many and as someone who hasn't played pokemon i yave no idea where to start if there even is a good game to start with.Reccomendations for both 3ds and switch are welcome but switch is preferred as my 3ds has seen its best days. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/AXh0mYd
