"One Party, Full STAB Coverage"

I was digging into the new SV demo coverage, and I made a realization. Thanks to the Tera mechanic, it is possible to have a full party of six pokémon, and get a STAB boost on all 18 types. If you had 6, dual typed Pokémon with no type overlapping in your party (12 types represented), you could then assign each of them a unique Tera-type. Even if Pokémon is unable to learn moves matching their Tera-type, they can still learn terablast for STAB.Here’s an Example Team: - Torterra (Grass/Ground; Tera: Ice) - Infernape (Fire/Fighting; Tera: Dragon) - Empoleon (Water/Steel; Tera: Bug) - Staraptor (Normal/Flying; Tera: Rock) - Drapion (Poison/Dark; Tera: Psychic) - Rotom (Electric/Ghost; Tera: Fairy)I’m really intrigued to see if this type of whole team approach will be normal, or if Tera-Types will be a mon-by-mon situation. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/8DjqgP4
