"TIL: Palm trees grow tall in hot climates and short in colder climates."

I recently found out that palm trees in warm climates THRIVE (yeah I went there, big deal wanna fight about it?) And can grow incredibly tall and thin, while palm trees in colder climates stay short and fat. I believe this is why Exeggutor has this new form.Also could it be possible that Exeggutor was at one point Alola native and then brought to Kanto?
