"Just a reminder all innocent players on Rooted phones are unable to play the game or receive a refund."
#PokemonGO: Since September 10th I've been unable to play PokemonGO after spending around 120 GBP (around $150) and the latest update has forced you to update, totally blocking all users with rooted phones out of the game.I know some of you are confused as to what rooting actually is, but many of us are legitimate users that do it to customise appearances. Hell, if you're on an older phone, rooting was the only way to play it since Android wouldn't let older phones update to 4.2, the requirement for PoGo.I've sent two emails to Niantic with all of my order history and telling them this is a breach of the Consumer Rights act, since they have changed the requirements of playing the game and I am no longer able to access what I have paid for. I've had no reply.I know a lot of people were upset about GPS spoofers and while I have never attempted any hack of any kind, nor do I condone it - it has resulted in me being $150 out of pocket with a game I can no longer play. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2deCBcL
