"We're too harsh on Game Freak."

Here's why:WARNING: I will generalise what "people hate" to get my point across.Gen I: most people love cos they're OG, some people don't cos they're poorly designed. So GF thought they should continue to evolve Gen I Pokemon.Gen II: people hated because GF introduced Baby Pokemon and Gen I Evolutions to fill up the dex. So GF thought they should upscale.Gen III: people hated because GF introduced 134 new overly-designed Pokemon and only 2 Pre-Evolutions. So GF thought they should cut back on introducing too many new Pokemon and bring back more cross-generational Evolutions.Gen IV: people hated because GF introduced an abundance of "ugly" Pre/Evolutions of old Pokemon and too many Legendaries. So GF thought they should make an entire gen with no cross-generational Evolutions.Gen V: people hated because they introduced 156 new stupid Pokemon and not a single cross-generational Evolution. So GF thought they should cut down on new Pokemon again and bring back old generations but don't make cross-generational Evolutions because they were scalded for that in Gen II/IV, so they introduced Mega Evolutions.Gen VI: people hated because they introduced so little new Pokemon and filled the dex with Mega Evolutions, which aren't even real Evolutions. So GF thought they won't create any more Mega Evolutions and instead introduce a new way to pay homage to Gen I.Gen VII: PEOPLE ARE STILL HATING BECAUSE GF HAS MADE LESS NEW POKEMON AND FILLED THE DEX A TINY BIT WITH "UGLY" ALOLAN FORMS TO SUCK GEN I's DIGLETT.What I'm trying to say is that you should try and not hate GF as much every single generation because they get something "wrong". There's still so many great things each generation, and you shouldn't let this anger blind you from what's good. You're the gamer not the game developer, so of course you'll never get your way 100%. Just be thankful you're not a Metroid fan.EDIT:AND we get a new CORE Pokemon game nearly* EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
