"Winter is coming . . . So get your hands on a stylus!"
#PokemonGO: I would hate for anyone to end up with frostbite as a result of playing pokemon once winter hits. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of capacitive (conductive? not sure what the right term is) gloves for two reasons. First, I have yet to encounter a pair that is REMOTELY thick/warm enough, at least for the weather in my area. And secondly, of the pairs that I have tried, I find it difficult to be particularly accurate with my touches. Mis-clicks can be expensive (sometimes literally), so I'll take a pass on that! In looking for an alternative, I have tried using a stylus for a little while here . . . and I kinda love it. You're not limited to a specific set of touchy gloves, so if you gotta bust out the REALLY toasty mittens, you're still good to go! While I think I actually prefer throwing with the stylus over my pointer finger or thumb, it pretty much eliminates the option of playing one-handed. Granted, I think that was already out the window with gloves, so that's not a huge deal for me. So to all my fellow trainers who will be playing through the snowy months, do your digits a favor and don't play bare-handed!Edit: I should clarify that you'll need a stylus with a conductive tip! Here's the one that I've been using. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2e9V6gx
