"For once it finally feels as if you have true companions in a Pokémon game"

I didn't like how the friend dynamic was handled in XY. All the children besides Calem or Serena felt pretty irrelevant, for the most part. They were there, and had character, but weren't too integral to the plot.In Sun and Moon I absolutely love how Lillie and Hau are always there, and you travel through the islands of Alola together. Its the closest Pokemon games have come to having an anime style journey where you adventure with your friends throughout the region. When Gladion is added into the mix, I cant help but admire the development of his and Lillies character as the plot progresses. Lillies transformation felt akin to Serena's in the anime, and it was just as great. While Gladion didn't do a complete 180, his presence in the ending was heartwarming.I applaud GameFreak for finally getting this right, and can't help but be excited for the next games to experience the friendship over again. : ) via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2fzgo6o
