#PokemonGO: Niantic has shown that they like the idea of rewarding players for unlocking different tiers of medals, but perhaps were lacking ideas for the non pokémon type related ones. I think that new apparel choices for your avatar would be a good way to reward some of these other medals without giving players benefits that would give them an advantage. For example, the backpacker medal could unlock different backpacks, jogger could give different shoes and scientist could give lab coats, goggles or something of that sort. You would be able to show off your progress towards these medals in gyms by wearing your new items, and it would add more diversity to the character models via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2eyPYB3
