"Who else is struggling with leveling up gyms?"

#PokemonGO: Just spent half an hour trying to level up a gym from 2 to 3. Well I got sniped once a did and in my attempt to get it to level 4, it took 4 battles (beating all 3 each time with Pokemon with lower cp) to get it up to level 4 but once I finally left the animation of the prestige going up, someone had finished battling the gym (once) and brought the prestige down so I couldn't add Pokemon. Had to run to class and didn't have enough time to finish.
