"Random Pokémon of the Day #4 - Mantine"

#PokemonGO: RPotD is a thread where people will talk about a randomly selected Pokémon. I thought that it would promote discussion about less-talked about Pokémon. I begin with a few data and my experience and knowledge of this Pokémon and others can add their comment, experience and correction.Name: MantineType: Water/FlyingGeneration: Gen IIMax CP: 2032Evolution: UnevolvedBuddy Distance: 5 km (Mantine Candy)Catch Rate: 0.12Flee Rate: N/A (Could not found the info)Best Offensive Moveset: Wing Attack/Aerial AceBest Defensive Moveset: Bubble/Ice BeamNot a lot of time today, but a few things to say.Mantine is one of my favourite Water Pokémon in Gen II. Favourite is Totodile, but I really like this Ray Manta Pokémon, really a cool design. And as Water/Flying Pokémon, I like it better than Gyarados in Gen I or Pelipper (spelling?) in Gen III.Of course, Mantine is not as strong as Gyarados, but in area with low spawning Rate of Water Pokémon, it might be faster to catch one Mantine, as to catch enough Magikarp to get your Gyarados.Not so surprisingly, but I never thought about it, Mantine and other Water/Flying Pokémon are a good counter to Grass Pokémon, which are usually a bane to normal Water Pokémon, and with the few Fire Pokémon spawning here it might be useful. Mantine as also a few good Flying move.
