"I accepted the fact that running with the app didn't hatch any eggs..."

#PokemonGO: It was a huge bummer. When it was warm I would strap the thing to my ankle and run wth it. Kind of awkward but there was no way I was carrying it. In the winter I would put it in my jacket pocket. When the Plus came out I expected it to track more KMs when I would run, but it still didn't help.Fast forward like 3 months, I just bought an Apple Watch literally just for this game so I can FINALLY hatch some darn eggs and get buddy candy (sad, I know). After a lot of difficulty I think I had figured out how to properly count steps on the watch to convert to KM in-game. Soooo today, I tried once again (this was like the third or forth) to run, with the watch and phone in my jacket pocket (today was finally a cold enough day). At around 3km on the watch I noticed it had stopped the workout...No sweat, I was at about mile 2.5, so I hadn't lost much. While still keeping pace (about 6:15 mile pace? With hills), I begin another workout on the watch. This continues until the end of my run.So my run was about 7 miles. At the end I notice my watch says 6.5KM or something. I was like 'great this thing finally works!'. So I swipe over to my eggs, to see it update my distance.......... and my 2k egg didn't even hatch! Which, I probably already had about half a kilometer on. Wow, what am I doing wrong? I was excited that this thing would let me bypass the stupid speed cap. Hahahaha I must be stupid.tldr: ran roughly 7 miles, breaking the speed cap, tracked 10+ kilometers on the Apple Watch, for credit for about 1.5 kilometers or less. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2li0XqX
