"Prestiging gyms formula not working for me. What am I missing?"

#PokemonGO: As I understand it the formula for prestige added to a gym when training is max(500*(Defender CP/Attacker CP), 1000). So can someone please explain why when I defeated a 2600 Kingler (the only mon in a 1000 prestige level 1 gym) with my 1300 Miltank (leaving the Miltank with plenty of HP at the end) the prestige only went up by 116 and not 1000?Supplementary question - how does the formula work if you end up using more than one mon to defeat one in the gym?I'm sure I must be missing something here. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2neCBxU
