"The Real "Philosophers Stone" of Pokemon"

Quick note before I start this theory. I’ve decided that I’m gonna do these every week and release them on Sunday 7pm GMT. So if you like my theories then you’re in for a treat 😊Also this theory is pretty wordy but a lot of time and effort went into it and all I ask is that you read till the end and then yell at me for wasting your timeRemember a few months before Sun and Moon came out and everyone was losing their minds with the parallels between this gen and alchemy. Many people thought that the starters would form the Pokémon “Philosopher's Stone” when placed in the Hermetic Seal of Light.Litten represented Sulphur, Rowlett represented Salt and Poplio represented Mercury.Sulphur, Salt and Mercury are the three main components that form the Philosophers Stone, the holy grail of the field of Alchemy. Now, although the evidence is compelling, I want to suggest different Pokémon that would also fit into the Hermetic Seal.Perhaps the legendaries can fit into this. Here’s some quotes from an ancient alchemic text. (It’s called a website)“Mercury is the spirit, sulphur is the soul, and salt is the body”"Mercury... Represents the feminine and passive principle. Sulphur is the...masculine or active principle."Let’s start with mercury. I believe Lunala fits into this role, it is a ghost type and spirit is a synonym for ghost. Mercury is also defined as a feminine element and I’d say Lunala is fairly feminine (don’t worry, I didn’t assume its gender. Its genderless)Solgaleo’s cohesiveness to this theory is a bit of a stretch but I still think it fits. Lions are seen as the antithesis of masculinity and ferociousness and good counter to the feminine mercury. It also helps if I say that sulphur is the most volatile of the three elements. Its explosive and unpredictable, like a certain animal I may or may not have been previously referring to.Fairly simple. Now, to salt. The most stable and least dangerous of the three. It is mainly referred to as “the body”, it’s the base (there’s a chemistry joke here, that I’m just not smart enough to make)(the base is under a salt?) where everything is built up from. A clean slate almost. So Cosmog, who from what we understand, is a baby Pokémon. A “body” to be filled with the power of its kin. A blank slate, you could say.A big thing that was being thrown around with the original theory was that Rowlett, Poplio and Litten would form the Philosophers Stone of Type Null, or Type Full or whatever you want to call it. The AZOTH, the Philosophers Stone had the power to challenge gods. And that’s what Type Full was made for.So, what would my legendries version of the Hermetic Seal create. Well before I reveal that, let’s talk more about Type Full.Type Full was the names given to these synthetic Pokémon who would have the power to rival gods. But as we know, the experiment was a failure and the Type Full’s were aggressive and disobedient. They had masks placed on them to and they were renamed Type Null.NothingEmptyImpureEventually, through bonding and the steady, kind hand of a trainer. They were released of their shackles and unlocked their true potential. But I digress. The point was, the transmutation was a failure. Initially...So what do our legendries form? Well none other than my research nightmare, Necrozma. You see, Necrozma is already some form of rock or similar material, you could even call it a stone, and it’s definitely dying or in great pain, hence the Necro part of its name.An idea I originally put forward was that Necrozma could have been the one original legendary that had split apart, similar to Kyurem. But now I suggest the opposite. The legendries created a much more powerful Pokémon through transmutation. But like Type Null, it was impure. Unstable. Not quite right. It also had many properties of its creators, hence why it’s kind of an Ultra beast, but not quite. Here’s a Dex entry of Necrozma:“Light is apparently the source of its energy. It has an extraordinarily vicious disposition and is constantly firing off laser beams.”So it acts erratic and violent, and constantly fires lasers uncontrollably. This again seems to draw similar parallels to Type Full’s aggressive and uncontrollable behaviour.Perhaps we’ll see a perfect or pure form of Necrozma in the near future but for now we are only one small step closer to uncovering what Necrozma truly is. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2pmhvwb
