"C-Springs Lure-A-Thon"
#PokemonGO: Hello, fellow travelers. As many of you know, Sprint has been trying to do events recently, with varying degrees of success. Recently, on my My Trainer Rewards account, an event titled "Pokemon GO Lure-A-Thon (Colorado Springs)" popped up and I figured it was visible to me because I lived in the area, but last night, /u/Oxone_PkMnTrnr with USA-South flair mentioned it on here, so I figured I'd go check it out since this seems to be the only place doing a "Lure-A-Thon." When I showed up around 11:10, the stop was lured and the display shown above was in front of the store, along with cornhole and chairs. Other than that, the store was pretty quiet, people sort of trickled in and out individually or with their kids (shout-out to Cash). No promo-codes to be given out or anything like that, just a jar to enter your name and number for a chance to with a $50 Amazon gift card. I really only stayed for a couple lures to get some biome lure data for one of the research team studies, but the event was very much not a huge focus. Still, if you're in the Springs, there's a bout an hour left from the time of this going up to go to the Sprint store on Centennial to try to get an Amazon gift card.TL;DR: A Sprint store in Colorado Springs advertised a My Trainer Rewards event where the store was lured and you could enter for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. No promos or anything earth-shattering.EDIT: Also, there's supposed to be a picture of the booth, but it's not posting for some reason. http://ift.tt/2qqj00H via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2rat5Md
