"Let's rank Top 10 Best Pokemon Trainers in the whole world! [Games Only]"

Assuming that Pokemon world had ranking system similar to real-world sports, where individual trainers are classified according to their achievements, including beating the Pokemon League, beating Battle Frontiers and many other battle-based events, but also being certified Gym Leader/Champion, then how do you think the top 10 would look like? Of course, I remember that some rules about being champion are not so simple, in game they were never clarified, but here we can discuss about this topic as much as we want, so... My personal top 10 is as follows:1. Red - well, one would say he's a pretty obvious choice, but... He wasn't an official Johto/Kanto Champion in G/S/C. In game, it is said that he vanished after beating Lance and isn't seen up until we find him at Mt. Silver peak. So, how would he rank so high? Well, first and foremost, he participated not only in PWT, but also is the Battle Tree leader, alongside his rival Blue. In game, both of them are reffered to as Battle Legends, indicating that their name is widely known in whole Pokemon world. Besides, he was the first and only player avatar to become a part of the next games, so it would be somehow symbolic for him to be The Best Of The Best.2. Cynthia - fan's favourite and also very strong trainer, here comes the Sinnoh Champion! Why the second place though? Well, she has been appearing in numerous games following gen IV, so we can safely assume, that she is also widely known across many regions. Perhaps it is because of her passion as historian, or because of her fame as trainer. I'm not gonna lie, I just like her a lot and I think that Game Freak did a great job projecting and writing her, as well as her team.3. Blue - another obvious choice, considering that he and Red are eternal rivals, always being head to head in their way to the top. Some could say that he should be higher in the overall ranking, 'cause of his long carreer as Gym Leader and, for short amount of time, as Champion, but I have this little headcanon, that Red in this time traveled around the world beating strongest trainers and such (just like us, beating game after game). In the end, Blue is more than entitled for the third place, but I can't see him being stronger than Cynthia.4. Lance - being the final challenge for both Red and Blue, he stayed at the top for long time, as the Champion of both Kanto and Johto. Honestly, I wasn't sure if he would be higher than, let's say, Steven or Diantha, but every trainer in Pokemon World respect his talents, and also he kicked our friend Kukui's ass!5. Diantha - I think that many of you wouldn't agree with this, but personally, I find Diantha to be very strong and very well known among trainers all around the world, going head to head with Steven.6. Steven - I'm honestly not sure how should I rank trainers from now, because they are all pretty similar in terms of achievements and strenght. Steven is just... cool, I guess, I've always liked him.7. Iris - being Gym Leader and advancing to the top of Elite Four is something definitely worth noting. She's impressively strong and young to that, so I guess she's on a good way to the top of the list.8. Hala - okay, not sure if being Kahuna should even count to the global ranking, but surely being E4, and also experienced trainer would place him pretty high in the ranking. Why not Kukui tho? Because he is much younger and I guess he wouldn't have as much achievements as our old Hala. Besides, kids in Alola seem to look up to him, indicating that he is someone strong.9. Silver - okay, here comes some strong fanfiction, but... I'd love to see more of this edgelord in future games. And also I'd love to hear that he surpassed both Gold and other protagonists just because he is so goddamn determined. Add his newfound love to the Pokemons to the mix and you have recipe for a new Trainer Prodigy.10. Anabel - this place was definitely hardest for me to decide. There are so many great trainers that are worth appreciation. I wanted to include someone like Kukui, who was almost like champion, I also wanted to include some gym leaders, maybe Volkner or Drayden. But, I also wanted to include at least one Frontier Brain, because I think they are generally underappreciated as strong trainers. So, there she is, Hoenn Salon Maiden, and also strong participant in Alola Battle Tree, Anabel!Please, feel free to comment on this ranking and, if you want, write about your own Top 10 Best Pokemon Trainers!
