"This game needs new items."

#PokemonGO: For players like myself who are more interested with "Catching them all" than "being the very best", the game is incredibly lacking. Well, I guess you could say the game is incredibly lacking in general. But I suppose that's a matter of opinion. It really bothers me that some Pokemon are just simply impossible to attain, depending on your location. And I guess I don't need to go into detail on the plight of the Rural player, who is awash in Rattattas, Pidgey's, HootHoots and not much else. The game is not tailored for those who aren't fortunate enough to live in big cities - but I digress, I know you're all sick and tired of hearing the crying from rural players (even though I don't live in a rural area, the game is still very lacking)The point is, there are some items that could change the game for players who face a situation similar to mine, and probably wouldn't really benefit players who live in a Poke-Paradise any more than what they already experience. Here are some ideas.Magic Candy - Magic Candy would essentially be "wild card" candy that can be used on ANY Pokemon in addition to type-specific candies. So let's say you have 47 Onix candy, and you just don't have time, or it's winter, or whatever - you can use 3 magic candy in addition to that 47 Onix candy to evolve it. Magic Candy would be rare, either a reward for milestone player levels or something you can only purchase in the store in limited quantities (with a maximum amount available to be purchased within a certain time period, like you can buy a total of 10 magic candies per month or whatever seems fair), but Magic Candy would help players evolve those 5k Pokemon. "Just walk them!", you say... well, not everyone lives in an area where walking is an easy task. Having 3 or 5 magic candies isn't going to break the game, it's just going to help you evolve a Pokemon that maybe you've spent months walking already and now the weather has turned or you broke your ankle or you're working all day every day and just don't have the time.Special Incense - Let's say you have 100 Weedle candies. You could continue evolving Weedles for the XP, but maybe you want to try to lure different bug type Pokemon your way, maybe to get something new and different to fill a Pokedex entry. Popping an Incense is a major gamble, you just never know what you're gonna get - probably more Weedles, mixed with Pidget's and Rattatta's. Totally not helpful at all, right? But what if you could take that 10, or 20, or 50 of that Weedle Candy, combine it with an Incense, and now you have BUG Incense that will ONLY attract Bug-Type Pokemon? And in doing so, you might still get nothing but Weedles, but your odds of seeing a Bug Type you don't already have are increased simply by eliminating all other Pokemon types.Special Incubator - An expensive store item that reduces the distance requirement for hatching eggs. There's the Standard Incubator (what we have now), the Great Incubator (-25% walking distance), the Ultra Incubator (-50% walking distance), and the Master Incubator (-75% walking distance). It would also be a milestone player level reward. Each type of Incubator will be priced according to the benefit they provide.Remote Pokestop Relay - A rare and expensive device that can be attached to any Pokestop and will allow you to remotely access the Pokestop for up to 30 minutes. You must be near the Pokestop to attach the relay module, but once attached you can travel anywhere and still access the Pokestop. It will appear on the top left of your main screen as a highlighted Pokestop Icon. Tap it to access. The 5 minute cool down timer is still in effect. Your movement speed must still be below the speed cap in order to use the Pokestop. That's all for now. Thoughts? Opinions? Looking forward to constructive criticism and discussion. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2r5IuzM
