If this were to happen in a remake of Diamond and Pearl, I'd like to see her use her DP team with Gastrodon in the main Champion battle and her Platinum team in the rematches.Volkner. IIRC, he made reference in the lighthouse to wanting to challenge the Elite Four, and while the protag brings back his love for battles, I could still see him taking on the League, since in-game lore generally portrays him as one of the strongest Gym Leaders.Caitlin. She's present in Platinum in the Battle Castle, but Darach fights on her behalf due to her uncontrollable psychic powers. I could see her being desperate for a battle of her own and going against Darach's back to challenge the League - we know she's strong enough since she eventually joins the Unova Elite Four.Saturn. Of all the Team Galactic Commanders, he seems like the one most likely to seek redemption after Cyrus's defeat, as is evidenced by his dialogue in the Galactic HQ in the postgame, where he mentions his interpretations of Cyrus's motives and states that "extremism is never the solution."
