"Helpful tip to find other PoGo players if you're rural"

#PokemonGO: So, if you're a rural player like me, you might have trouble finding enough players to do the lvl3 and 4 raids with. Personally I was lucky enough to actually bump into a few players over the last few days, but that really was a lucky accident. Today I decided to try and add to our newly founded group of players by luring 2 pokestops that were close to the lvl4 raid we were going to try in +-30 minutes. I figure most players will open their game, see a lvl4 raid, but then wonder if it's worth going there since chances are no one will be there.(Right? I've had this problem myself) But if you see a lured pokestop(or 2/3) near the raid, that's a good sign someone is there already. In my case, it actually worked out quite well. Someone walked up to me about 15mins before the raid started, saying he opened up his game and saw the lures, so decided to go check it out. And as it turns out, he knows 2 or 3 more reasonably active players he plays with regularly, so now we've got a few more high lvl players in our group.So to summarise; if you want to go for a lvl3 or 4 raid but you don't have a group to play with, try luring a pokestop or 2 near the raid to lure players to you(instead of pokemon).I know this might not be a solution for everyone, because you need a lure to do this, but atm it's basically the only thing you can do to let other players know someone else is at the raidlocation. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2sY8nAe
