"Raid Sportsmanship"

#PokemonGO: As exciting as legendary raids are, let's not forget the importance of sportsmanship and cooperation in raids.Earlier this week my boyfriend and I participated in a Lugia raid. We could only gather 8 participants: 5 adults and 3 young boys. We enter the battle and notice that the boys are using attackers that aren't necessarily recommended (Blissey, Arcanine with fire moves, etc), and we lose the battle. No one in the group talks down on them. We let them know that some of their fighters could be changed though. The kids show us their Pokemon, we give them advice on effective choices. We go into battle again, and we come close but still lose. The gym's timer for Lugia ends, but everyone is a good sport. Everyone thanks each other for their time and we go on our ways.TL;DR: Instead of being frustrated with players unfamiliar with effectively attacking raids, please be patient with them and help them. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2vgmW6n
