"Imagine A Pokemon Game Where You Actually Discover New Pokemon"

Very little information about the game is given to you pre release. Just a few pokemon, the region and the premise.PremiseYou're given your starter and you go out into the wild and find the new pokemon. Trainers have mostly discovered pokemon and are on the beaten path, but theres large open areas of grass and water where you find new pokemon. No names, no typing no stats are given. The more you use the pokemon the more information you can take from it - Alternatively you can bring them back to the professor and they'll research it similar to the day care levelling pokemon.I'm not suggesting an open world pokemon or anything like that - not tackling that design nightmare. Same sort of linear progression, maybe with a little more freedom like doing things out of order or being encouraged to do other things than the plot at hand etc. (I just want that in my normal games thanks)It could even be a prequel and no pokemon are registered bar very common pokemon. So you still know what a Sandshrew is but you have the fun of using it effectively because you know in real life.Forget what typing Skorupi is? Have fun rediscovering it! via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2eNVqCG
