"EX Raid Invite Criteria"

#PokemonGO: Apologies if this has been discussed on another thread but I've not found an answer. Has there been any definitive or even preliminary conclusion reached as to how gyms are being selected to have an EX raid and how people qualify for an invite?We have only had one EX raid locally and from the invite list it appears it was only people who did a specific raid at that gym who were invited. Others who did more recent raids didn't get one. If that was the case then those people running around doing every croconaw and quilava raid just to get the gym into their 'recently completed' list are wasting their time.I understand the EX raids are still in beta test and Niantic must be delighted at the amount of people spending on raid passes like madmen just to try and get an invite. However, I think it is now time for a bit more clarity on gym selection and eligibility criteria. I'm still half expecting to get an invite for a raid I did in a city I'll not be returning to.I'm prepared to give it a bit of time to see what it's like once beta test is over but I've yet to see anything good about the way EX raids work.
