"We 2-manned Tyranitar with Bite/Stone Edge in Athens, Greece"
#PokemonGO: Hi fellow travelers! Me and my buddy decided to take on Tyranitar as a 2-man squad as a challenge. After ~400k dust, some simulations and tries, we managed to beat a Bite/Stone Edge Tyranitar with 7 seconds left using, of course, an army of machamps. Our trainer levels are both 38. You can watch our successful attempt against Tyranitar in the following link:(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL9V2bKKpK8) The lineups used for our attempt were:Trainer 1:Machamp lvl 36.5 15/14/15 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 36.5 14/15/14 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 37.5 12/12/9 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 34.5 11/2/15 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 35 14/6/15 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 36.5 15/14/15 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 36.5 15/14/15 Counter/Dynamic PunchTrainer 2:Machamp lvl 39 15/15/15 Karate Chop/SubmissionMachamp lvl 36.5 14/15/12 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 36 15/10/12 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 30 13/11/6 Karate Chop/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 29 15/14/9 Counter/Dynamic PunchMachamp lvl 29 14/12/12 Karate Chop/Dynamic PunchAfter trying to beat the Tyranitar without dodging and running out of pokemon every time, we decided that the best way to do it was to just dodge the first Stone Edge with every Machamp. This way we took little damage from the first Stone Edge as it is "not very effective" and we managed to survive the second Stone Edge without dodging. Midway through the battle and as we noticed that we had enough machamps left to finish the battle we stopped dodging to maximize our damage output. The result was an amazing victory and the experience was really rewarding. After all we both caught the Raid Boss with the first ball. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2hChAJj
