"[discussion] Got sniped by a bunch of spoofers today. How do I stop it happening again?"

#PokemonGO: So today I spent probably 15 minutes fighting a gym down from 6 players to 0, and was healing my pokemon before adding them when suddenly the gym was red and there was a dragonite on it. Went to battle but PoGo selected 6 shit mons to fight, so I started switching them out, and then bam, 3 pokemon. Finished switching out, suddenly there were 5 pokemon on the gym. The gym is next to a busy road, no pedestrians in sight.I screenshotted their usernames but then remembered Niantic don't give a shit about spoofing so I just walked away.I was under the impression that there is a grace period to prevent sniping - how long is it?
