"Fix Your Least Favorite Pokemon"

One of Pokemon's greatest qualities as a franchise is the Pokemon themselves, and how there is incredible diversity of all these amazing creatures. Any one of them could be your favorite. Aaand any one could be your least. So how would you fix your least favorite Pokemon, or even a Pokemon you think was executed poorly?Personally, I think the Elemental Monkeys could be improved. The Pan's are cute but the Simi's are some of people's least favorite Pokemon, with Simisear being last in a poll of Japanese fans a while back. They feel very same-y, like someone took the same design and applied it to three elements. Whenever I saw one of these Pokemon in a recent Black playthrough, I just knew there was going to be a trainer who used the other two. They can't stand on their own. I'm almost positive that nowadays, they'd have been condensed to something like Silvally. They've all got the same stats, even! I'd like to see them have different stats so they aren't all just different typings and movepools of the same Pokemon. That or actually make it a Pokemon with three forms. Then they could have been like a secondary starter trio as well as being an eevee for Gen 5. Another idea would be to make all them single stages. This might seem difficult to balance, but Audino and Sawk and Throh are single-stages you can get before the second gym. The solution would be to give the monkeys weak moves that aren't in their higher stat. If the stats were rearranged, like Simisear getting more Sp Attack and less Attack, for example, it could learn physical moves at first and then get strong special ones like Flamethrower later. Obviously some of these would not happen, like the entire Pokedex being rearranged, but those are just my thoughts on some Pokemon who are definitely not universally popular in the way they've been executed.Tl;dr on monkeys: different forms of the same Pokemon or they're all single stages, change their stats to be different from each other. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2ABWnHR
