"Gym in LA is actually supposed to be in St. Louis- has anyone seen anything like this before?"

#PokemonGO: So I went on a hike today in Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles and noticed a gym in the middle of a large meadow (approx location is 34.0086145,-118.3639536)I saw the gym’s namesake was something about a cannon which I thought was odd since it was a big field with nothing but nature all around, but didn’t pay close attention and just shrugged it off. I went ahead and placed a Pokémon in the gym and went about my hike.Upon getting home, I looked more closely at the gym badge and all the data looks like this gym is actually supposed to be in St. Louis.
