"RESULT: Shiny Mawile and Absol rates: crowd sourcing"

#PokemonGO: Following up on my request for people to submit their own experiences of raiding Mawile and Absol in order to show roughly what odds there are of getting a shiny I have got some results. Thanks to everyone who submitted data.Mawile: 582 seen, 40 shiny = 6.87% or 1 in 14 encountersAbsol: 646 seen, 57 shiny = 8.82% or approx. 1 in 11 encountersCombined: 1228 seen, 97 shiny = 7.9% or approx. 1 in 13 encountersThe difference between the two Pokemon may be significant but could easily be the result of using a small, uncontrolled data set.I should also say that this is really only the gathering of anecdotal evidence and could definitely be improved on but at least it definitely shows a marked shift from the 1 in 256 which was our best guess for shiny Gen. 3 ghosts during the Halloween event.Thanks again everyone for your contributions. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2DiUyBh
